About Alex & The Hounds

Hi and welcome to Alex & The hounds, I am a City and Guilds Level 2&3 qualified dog groomer with experience working with dogs of every size and breed. I take very special care of each dog that comes in to my salon and treat them all with kindness and reassurance as I know some may be nervous. Leave your dog with me and I can assure you they will be treated with the upmost respect, care, attention and pampering that they deserve.

I’m incredibly passionate about the importance of regular grooming for your pups, big and small!

My salon is fully equipped at my home address in Gosport which is very easy to find and has parking available. But due to security reasons I will give you the full address upon your booking. 

 

My love for dogs (and animals in general) started before I could walk, I've always known I wanted to work with dogs, always asking owners if I could say ‘hello’ to their dogs as a child. So, after completing school, I did a two year course in Animal Management, then went on to specialise in dog grooming. I’ve since completed my Level 2 and Level 3 in dog grooming.

 

The inspiration behind my logo and name Alex & The Hounds comes from my two childhood dogs, Cindy and Bear, they’re both ex-racing Greyhounds.
